Q & A with Genaro CTO Waylon Wu
Hi Members of the Genaro Community!
Last Thursday, Genaro’s Co-Founder and CTO Waylon Wu talked about his expertise and experience in a sharing session with the Chinese community. The members were very enthusiastic and raised many questions, showing particular interest in the establishment of Genaro’s infrastructure, the application of technology, and how mining may work in the future. After the session, members wished for further information. Therefore, our editor has briefly collated key parts of the Q & A content from the discussions in the Telegram group.

Below is a selection from the Q & A:
Q: Will Genaro hold developer contests to appeal to developers to contribute to the Genaro ecosystem?
A: Yes, Genaro will hold a series of developer competitions in the future. We welcome all highly sophisticated blockchain talents to participate. As part of Genaro Hub, holding a Developer Contest will not only promote the blockchain technology proactively as per our policy, but will also help select talents among the blockchain industry. Currently Genaro has been conducting technical cooperations with Fudan University and Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.
Q: Is it possible to mine in Genaro? What’s the mechanism?
A: Yes, mining is available in Genaro. Genaro Mining mainly employs innovative SPoR and POS hybrid mechanisms, based on storage size, contributive ADSL (Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Loop) and guaranteed online time. Genaro’s mining is different from the traditional form. In simple terms, Genaro’s mining can be seen as a system of incentives of storage contribution and bandwidth.
Q: What kind of language do you use in Genaro?
A: Genaro mainly utilizes the Golang, Nodejs, C, BCLCC languages. Currently Genaro is planning to hire some programmers. We invite all skilled technnicians in the blockchain industry to join Genaro’s team. Let’s work together to initiate the Blockchain 3.0 Era.
Q: Recently Ethereum’s game ‘Cloud Cats’ has caused severe congestion for them. How will Genaro solve this kind of problem?
A: Currently, there are only few projects operated by Ethereum. The Cloud Cats game exposed the shortcomings of Ethereum’s lack of tractility. It is conceivable that most of the projects on Ethereum won’t be able to be put into operation. There are 20,000 nodes in Ethereum so far. It takes about 13 seconds to create a block. However, Genaro has its original SPoR + PoS consensus mechanism. Through its integrated public chain and decentralized storage network, it can achieve PoS trust consensus among 200 nodes through filtering by the SPoR trust system, which is a dramatic progress compared with the current speed of Ethernet and much more efficient.
Q: How does Genaro define the contribution of miners? How does Genaro prevent miners from sending fake data maliciously?
A: With ADSL monitoring, Genaro has a specific Gadget. specific tool for this threat.
Q: What is the role of Genaro’s public chain?
A: Storage is just one of the applications of Genaro. The main purpose of Genaro is to build the basic infrastructure of the blockchain. Each node is completed by the hard disk provided by the miners. The role of the public chain is to attract different programmers, project partners and blockchain companies to build their own DAPPs in our public chain, such as the well-known EOS, quantum chain and so on. Genaro aims primarily to provide one-stop solutions for blockchain developers. While deploying smart contracts, it can also store a user’s data. All in all, Genaro has built a reliable Internet shared community that is driving the growth of blockchain technology. Through Genaro Hub and Genaro Accelerator, it can help thousands of blockchain applications to go into operation and realize the revolutionary plan of transitioning from the cloud to the blockchain.
