Genaro Announces Details of Romulus Version to Implement the SPoR Project
Genaro Romulus Plan
— Genaro Testnet and Receipt on Ether
The Romulus Version particularly classifies the core SPoR part into 4 subclasses so as to develop them synchronously and respectively realize functions including encryption, file transfer, file processing (cutting, etc) and smart contract. Romulus aims to successfully build the whole Genaro Network framework on the foundation of ETH. Since its successful operation, the Genaro Romulus Version becomes the footstone of the Genaro Beta and also provides early-stage preparation for the follow-up transfer into the Genaro public chains.
SPoR Engineering
- Encode Keys and permutation strategy
Realize the encryption function and permutation generation algorithm. Specifically these two functions are realized in the form of interface packaging through forward operation and reverse operation (encryption &decryption, disordering & sorting).
- P2P library
Realize P2P library. Compared with the existing P2P library, we optimize its functions to meet the transmission requirement of SPoR.
- File handling
Realize slicing separation and tagging of local files and the reverse operation which gathers file pieces according to tags. This function may need interfaces to facilitate further development which will be carried out in joint cooperation with the challenger and P2P part.
- Smart Contract system for storage receipt on testnet
“Receipt” data of file storage are placed in EVM for query by way of smart contract. Each time when storing a file, a corresponding encrypted “receipt” will be received from Genaro Network and placed in EVM by way of Genaro Network’s smart contract. The Contract part can be independently developed first, and later will join the cooperative development with the P2P part.
Core Researching
- Challenger Mechanism
Design the Challenger Mechanism on basis of game theory, so as to guarantee the challenger’s impetus to challenge the “receipt” details under extreme conditions.
For major development in this stage, Wu Weilong, Genaro Technical Director says:
“The Romulus Version is Genaro’s key step to put SPoR into the decentralized network and the core measure to create Genaro’s whole decentralization mechanism. Meanwhile, it is also an essential step for important community contributors to participate in the construction of decentralized infrastructure and become its witness.”
